Terms of service

Last updated: October 30, 2026

Static preview policy. No real payments or accounts are created in this version. The operating entity, registered address and support mailbox must be confirmed before the live service opens.

These terms describe the intended CraftAI marketplace workflow.

Using the marketplace

CraftAI connects buyers with independent AI professionals offering quoted AI projects. You must be at least 18, provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure and use the service lawfully. We may suspend accounts for fraud, abusive conduct, infringement or material breach. Sellers must accurately describe their expertise and agree the scope, total price, delivery date and included revisions in a project quote.

Independent contractors and taxes

Sellers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of CraftAI. Sellers control their work methods and are responsible for their own taxes, registrations, licenses and reporting obligations. The marketplace does not create an employment or agency relationship between a seller and the platform.

Orders, payments and commission

Buyers pay only the agreed quoted order price, with no buyer fees or subscription at launch. Stripe processes payments. Funds remain on the platform until order completion, after which the seller’s share is transferred subject to payment availability, account eligibility and payout delays. Our “escrow” wording describes this payment protection workflow; Stripe does not provide a licensed escrow service.

Commission rules are frozen at payment: Starter 15%; Pro 5%; Flat 0% on the first $10,000 released order value per calendar month and 3% above. Stripe processing charges may apply separately. A 7-day connected-account payout delay is requested subject to Stripe’s account and country requirements. An order completes on acceptance or 3 days after delivery without a dispute or revision request.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Pro costs $29 monthly or $290 yearly. Flat costs $99 monthly or $990 yearly. Both offer a 14-day trial. The first subscription payment is refundable within 14 days; renewals are non-refundable. Manage and cancel subscriptions through the Stripe Customer Portal. Benefits remain until billing period end. Extra portfolio items are then hidden without deletion, and ranking reverts and the paid-plan badge is removed; new orders revert to 15%, while in-flight orders retain their frozen rules. Agency is a future offering and cannot be purchased.

Intellectual property and confidentiality

Upon full payment, the seller assigns all rights in the final deliverable to the buyer to the extent those rights exist and are transferable. The seller retains ownership of their own prompts, workflows and tools. The seller may display the deliverable in their portfolio unless the buyer requests confidentiality. The parties should identify any licensed components and permitted uses before ordering.

The seller warrants that the deliverable does not infringe third-party intellectual property, including through unlicensed stock assets or unlicensed style-trained models. Sellers must obtain all necessary permissions and disclose third-party restrictions. Buyers must hold rights to materials they supply. The legal availability of copyright protection for AI-assisted output can vary.

Revisions, disputes and refunds

Included revisions are stated in the accepted quote. Buyers may open a dispute before completion; administrators resolve it within 5 business days with a full refund, partial refund or release to the seller. If work has not started within 48 hours of payment, the buyer receives a full refund on request without a dispute. See the Refund Policy for details.

Chargebacks

Chargebacks occurring after funds release are the seller’s responsibility. Sellers must cooperate in providing relevant evidence and repay amounts attributable to their released orders, subject to applicable law and payment-provider rules.

Limitations of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform’s aggregate liability to a buyer is capped at the amount of the affected order. The platform’s aggregate liability to a seller is capped at the subscription fees paid by that seller in the previous 3 months. These limits do not exclude liability or mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the State of Delaware, USA, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Questions and notices should be sent to the support contact shown on our Contact page once the live service opens. Material changes will be dated and communicated through the service.
