HELP, WITHOUT THE HEADACHE

A little clarity goes a long way.

Do buyers pay a platform fee?

No. At launch, buyers pay only the agreed quote price. There are no buyer subscriptions or buyer fees. Browse profiles and send inquiries for free.

How does the Flat fair-use cap work?

The 0% commission covers the first $10,000 of released order value per calendar month; amounts above are charged a 3% platform fee.

When is my commission rate set?

Your plan and commission rules are frozen when the buyer pays for the order. Plan changes affect new paid orders only. The Flat threshold is calculated against released order value in the release month.

What happens if I cancel or my paid plan expires?

Your benefits stay until the end of your billing period. After that, ranking and badges revert, and extra portfolio items are hidden; they are not deleted and new orders revert to 15%. In-flight orders keep their frozen rules. Cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal.

Can I get a subscription refund?

Your first subscription payment has a 14-day money-back guarantee. Renewals are non-refundable, and benefits remain until the billing period ends. Contact support within the first 14 days to request a refund.

How does the free trial work?

Pro and Flat include a 14-day free trial. Stripe Checkout collects your payment method; your first payment follows the trial unless you cancel. Manage cancellation in the Stripe Customer Portal.

When is an order completed?

When the buyer accepts a delivery, or automatically 3 days after delivery if no dispute or revision request is open. A revision returns the order to In Progress.

What if a seller does not start?

If the seller has not started within 48 hours of payment, the buyer can request a full refund without opening a dispute.

What if something goes wrong?

Buyers can open a dispute before completion. For 7 days after automatic completion, buyers can also submit a late dispute for a missing deliverable or materially nonconforming work. An administrator reviews the evidence within 5 business days and decides whether a full refund, partial refund or no refund is appropriate.

Who owns AI-assisted work?

Upon full payment, the buyer owns the final deliverable. Sellers retain their own prompts, workflows and tools, and may display the work unless the buyer requests confidentiality.

What will I see on my card statement?

You may see CRAFTAI on your card statement.
